No. Every cake is donated with love by our Sweet Crew of volunteer bakers and supporters. If you’re able to contribute financially, however, your donation helps us reach even more people with custom cakes and moments of joy. Every dollar directly supports our mission and allows us to say “yes” to more families, celebrations, and stories.

The earlier the better, but we know life isn’t always predictable. If a request is last-minute, we’ll still try our best — and you’re always welcome to apply again.

Absolutely. If we weren’t able to match you with a baker this time, please feel free to reapply. We receive many requests and do our best to support as many people as possible, but availability depends on volunteer capacity in each area. Your story matters to us, and you’re always welcome to submit a new request for a future date.
